TREATMENT OF SEVERE RAYNAUD'S
Oral Iloprost - The efficacy of oral Iloprost (Berlex Laboratories) in Raynaud's was evaluated in a multicenter study -- including Dr. Rothfield's patients. The results indicated that Raynaud's duration and the number of ulcers did not differ significantly in patients taking Iloprost when compared to those who received the placebo. This study was published in the American College of Rheumatology's journal: Arthritis Rheum 41:670;1998.
