Our Division Focuses on An Essential Multidisciplinary Approach To Fibromyalgia, Polymyositis/Dermatomyositis,Tendonitis and Bursitis

Dr. Abeles is involved in Fibromyalgia research; he is an expert in inflammatory diseases that involve soft tissue and muscles including:

Lyme Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis

Dr. Rothfield studies patients with scleroderma and Raynaud's disease

A Multicenter Double-Blinded Study of Relaxin was completed in 1997 and published in the June 2000 issue of Annals of Internal Medicine: (Recombinant human relaxin in the treatment of scleroderma. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Ann Intern Med. 2000 Jun 6:132(11):871-9.)
 
Treatment of severe Raynaud's

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome and Sjögren's Syndrome

These are areas of interest of Dr. Parke and Dr. Rothfield especially in the field of lupus and pregnancy.
 
Dr. Rothfield is an active investigator involved in Clinical Trials to evaluate the efficacy and safety of novel treatments for Lupus.
 
Dr. Parke evaluated new therapies in patients with Sjögren's Syndrome.
